PES 14 Heart - Following in the footsteps of FIFA??

I haven't really felt the need to post anything new on here for a while I seem to have got the message across about FIFA's momentum system but something recently has caught my attention.

As more information has been release on both FIFA and PES with the upcoming release dates not far away I turned my attention to what PES was planning to offer this year and something stood out to me more than anything.

Below is a video from Konami detailing the additon of what they are calling the "Heart" mechanic in their games. Now I know they are trying to rebuild the game to compete with FIFA but i'm not sure that this is the way to go.
